The FC15 satellite is one of the possible building BUS expansions for the PB control units. It is equipped with 8 inputs and 8 outputs, which are available on a terminal block. The Bus address is programmed by dip switches. It has LED indicators for the CPU and BUS activity status, and for the status of the self-resetting electronic protection fuse on the power supply for the inputs and outputs.

Resistive balancing other than the PB standard can be selected simply using dip switches. It can therefore interface to sensors that were previously connected to other control units, leaving the existent resistors. In this way, the control unit can be replaced while minimising the costs and system downtime.

FC 15/P (IP56 plastic enclosure)
With 8 random variable or fixed reference inputs and 8 relay outputs with NO and NC contacts available on a terminal block. Dimensions 19.5x25x9.7 cm (h x w x d).

FC 15/S (Without enclosure)
Board with 8 random variable or fixed reference inputs and 8 relay outputs with NO and NC contacts available on a terminal block. Supplied with fixing accessories. Dimensions 17x16x2.5 cm (h x w x d).

Power Supply
12Vdc protected against polarity inversion and transients. Self-resetting electronic protection fuse on the power supply available for the inputs and outputs.

Consumption
30 mA with outputs inactive; 200 mA with all the outputs active.

Protection
Tamper-proof enclosure with a lever microswitch mounted on the electronic board.

Connections
The BUS connection is made using 2 x 1.5 mm2 shielded cable for BUS lengths up to 1500 m.
